Dante was born on October 3, 2002, weighing a hefty 8lbs 14oz.  He has two older brothers, Jordan, and Mateo who he adores.                                                                       

Dante started having seizures when he was 4months old and by his first birthday he had been diagnosed with failure to thrive, epilepsy, microcephaly, strabismus and hypotonia. 

At 14 months he underwent a procedure called “Nissen Fundoplication” to correct severe gastric reflux and by 3 years old he had eye surgery to correct strabismus.

After years of genetic testing, many Doctor visits and hospital stays, Dante was clinically diagnosed with Angelman syndrome at age 5.

In Jan of 2010 Dante was one of the first children to be diagnosed with a newly identified syndrome called Christianson Syndrome.

He is very social and loves to give big hugs and cuddles.

Dante is truly our gift from god and we are so blessed to have him as our son.                                                                                                                

He has a soul that is without envy, deceit, anger, and greed… a pure soul, only found in angels.  This is why we refer to Dante as our “little angel”.
